Shark Bay- Western Australia
Shark Bay is a heritage site because it is unique, special and irreplaceable. It is a natural wonder that educates people about different breeds of sharks that are native to that area. Rare and unique sharks thrive in the water at Shark Bay and live healthily and undisturbed. It is also historically important because it shows that the inhabitants before us took care of the land and were careful not to damage it.
The Australian government's Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts is responsible for taking care of Shark Bay. They have to make sure that there are no threats in the waters and that the waters of Shark Bay are kept clean and healthy.
